Encrypted Syntax Institute LLC, through its Encrypted Syntax Consulting division (“Encrypted Syntax Consulting,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects the privacy of visitors and prospective clients. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information through encryptedsyntaxconsulting.com (the “Site”) and related business communications initiated through the Site.

This Policy applies to Site visitors and people who contact us about consulting services. A separate written agreement may govern information processed during a client engagement. If that agreement contains privacy or data-handling terms that conflict with this Policy, the agreement controls for the engagement.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you submit a consultation request, email us, call us, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect your name, business email address, telephone number, organization, job title, requested service, general description of your needs, preferred contact method, and any other information you choose to provide.

Please do not submit passwords, authentication codes, private keys, vulnerability details, exploit code, regulated records, sensitive personal information, confidential system diagrams, or other security-sensitive material through the public contact form. If sensitive information is needed for a potential or active engagement, we will identify an appropriate secure transfer method.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting, security, and website systems may automatically receive technical information such as your Internet Protocol address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages requested, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, error information, and activity needed to operate and protect the Site. We use this information for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, availability, and aggregate performance analysis.

Information from business relationships

If your organization engages us, we may receive business contact information and authorized project information from your employer, colleagues, professional advisers, vendors, or other parties involved in the engagement. We do not use information submitted through a consulting inquiry to perform security testing against your organization. Testing occurs only after documented authorization and an executed engagement agreement.

Our hosting and security providers may also process technical identifiers to detect malicious traffic and maintain service availability.
